Its wise to have your gas appliance serviced annually.  If you use our service tech’s to clean your gas logs, etc, and you’re using propane, be sure you have a full tank of gas before their arrival.  In the Lynchburg area, contact Watts Propane (of course, some may be on natural gas).  A set of gas logs that’s set for an extended period accumulates dust, pet hair, etc in the burner and, as a result, valves can get stuck but our trained service techs are prepared to fix most of these common issues when they arrive.
